I have been eager to begin yoga for awhile. I am a single mom and I can’t go to a yoga studio because there is no one to watch my son. This would be the perfect beginners kit for someone like me. I can use this when my son takes his nap. I really do need some meditation and peace in my life, let me tell you.

I am sure you can have a great time by doing yoga from home, like my start with yoga 🙂
I hope you enjoy your practicing and
if you need a hand, please let me know.

It looks like a great kit! I love the purple as well. =0) How long have you been doing yoga?

I am happy to hear that you like it. I start my journey with yoga about 4 years ago!

    Hey, T. H.!

It really looks like the perfect option for beginners – it has all of the fundamental stuff and does not cost a fortune. In fact, far from that.
A quick question – the DVD surely is good, but you said ‘Youtube”. Is there any tutorial/video you would particularly recommend for a fellow beginner?

    Cheers and thank you!

    Hello,

Thanks for the suggestion! I don’t do yoga, but you make it really simple to know how to start… Also, my sister does yoga everyday… she’s not a beginner, but I’ll pass this info on to her… Thank you! 🙂

    Hi T.H.

This looks like an ideal place to take my yoga practice a step further.
I have been doing yoga classes from youtube, and a couple of other places online for a short while. I did start out taking some classes, just to get a little bit of an idea of the basics. I think that was important to me, to not be completely lost… 😉

But now I am ready to go a bit further, and I think this beginner’s kit might be a really good option for me.

    Thanks for the great review,

    Best wishes,
    Michael

I have never seen a yoga mat that shows you where to put your hands and feet! That is so cool. Also, the price is very reasonable. I have never used a strap before, may I ask what it is used for? Thank you

      Hello Collen,
using strap help you to relax into the pose for a more deep stretch, and for improving your flexibility. It’s very important to start stretch poses in a right way.
      Thank you for stopping by!

    What a great post,

I really enjoy Gaiam as well!

My favourite is my yoga strap. The sensations I get in my legs are so juicy and they open right up.

I enjoy the different patterns you can get too!

    Cheers,
    Kahlua
